To better understand the importance of patient education of molecular testing for targeted therapies, Celerity Education conducted a study to demonstrate the impact just a small amount of education can have on patient understanding of molecular testing.
In a baseline poll, over 71% of people reported having been a caregiver for a close friend or family member with cancer. Despite a 71% familiarity with cancer over 67% of people reported that they were not familiar with genetic testing.
